KAPCI sells stone, so the building itself had to become a quiet exhibit. We composed a dark marble monolith, slit with warm vertical lighting and wrapped in stone louvres that catch the evening sun without competing with the product inside.
Plans, elevations and detail studies coordinated the facade lighting, double-height showroom volume and circulation so the entire shell reads as one continuous material statement.
Inside, the plan organises customer flow around a central lit display volume — slabs are walked past, not stacked. Storage, cutting and back-of-house were resolved on the same drawing as the showroom so the public face never compromises operations.
From line to space.
KAPCI was resolved as a full design package — plan, elevation and facade detail coordinated together so the showroom shell, its product and its lighting read as a single sculptural object.
